Pariana is a Hilltop village (600 metres a.s.l.) surrounded by chestnut trees, olive groves and fruit trees. It is a beautiful place to walk around ... It is an excellent base from which to visit: -all the arts cities (Florence, Pisa, Lucca, Siena, San Gimignano, Vinci, Collodi, Prato, etc. ) -beaches (Viareggio, Forte dei Marmi, Livorno, Riviera degli Etruschi, Isola d'Elba, etc.) -mountains (Pizzorne, Abetone, Svizzera Pesciatina, Alpi Apunane, etc.) -bath (Terme) of Montecatini Terme and Monsummano Terme. The Villa Linda and Casa Rita are approx 55 Km from Airports of Florence and Pisa. Directions : From Florence: When you leave the airport you will find a traffic light you turn right and you are at the beging of autostrada that points Pisa Nord, get on that tollway, and the first exit will be Prato Est, then Prato Ovest, Pistoia, Montecatini Terme, and the next exit will be Chiesina Uzzanese, get of at the exit and you will see the sign that will point : Pescia, Collodi- Parco di Pinocchio-. Keep on going for about 5 km and you will find a traffic light, keep on going for another km and you will find a traffic light where you will see the sign that points Collodi, make the left and keep on going for 2 km and you will find another traffic light which points Collodi, Villa Basilica, make the right turn at the light and keep on going for about 2 km. You will find Ponte a Villa, then another km you will find Botticino, keep on going for another km you will find a small village Biecina, there on the left hand side you will find the road that takes you to Pariana ( it will about 5 km to Pariana). I will be waiting for you at the beginning of the village: where you will find your parking for your car. From Pisa: as you leave the airport you will see a green signs that points Genova, that is the tollway ( autostrada) that you go on, go 5 miles you will see the sign that point Firenze, get on that tollway, and the first exit will be Lucca, then Capannori, than Altopascio and the next exit is Chiesina Uzzanese, get of at the exit and you will see the sign that will point : Pescia, Collodi- Parco di Pinocchio-.
