To get a good idea of the location, use Google Maps and type in "Montemarcello, Italy", then follow "Cristoforo Colombo" road back toward Ameglia. The apartment is one of 9 in a condo about half-way between Montemarcello and Ameglia.
It's a perfect base from which to explore the coast, Liguria, and Tuscany, with lots of great outdoor activities within easy reach, including (recommended! A walk along the Cinque Terre trail from one village to the next.
